The Mackay mines are up in the mountains west of Mackay, Idaho. My friend Tony Huegel and I went dual sport riding in Mackay, Idaho, on Sunday, October 25, 2009. Mackay is about an hour and a half west of Idaho Falls. We towed the bike on a trailer because I was riding my little...

MONTHS TO GET PICTURES CLEARED FROM DOE
I had a meeting with the communication’s director at CWI (the contractor that runs the Idaho Cleanup Project for the Idaho National Laboratory, or INL) earlier this week. We are trying to setup an external website for the pictures I take of the construction of the Integrated Waste Treatment Unit (IWTU). IWTU is a multi-million dollar...
MOTORFIST SNOWMOBILE CLOTHING!
My friend Josh Skinner started a new snowmobile clothing company; check out their website here. Yesterday I took more pictures of their pre-production clothing. Looks like great gear! Can’t wait to wear mine this winter.
KORT DUCE FEATURED IN SHUTTERBUG!
In the October 2009 issue of Shutterbug magazine writer Joe Farace reviewed my Web Site for his column titled Web Profiles. Today they posted that review on www.shutterbug.com It is very flattering to have such a glowing review about oneself. A little nauseating to read myself, but it is free publicity. Check it out.

After completion of this course I need to have 10 hours of practical experience before I am certified. Here is a brief explanation of Hazwoper provided by wikipedia: Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response. It...
SNOW TONIGHT…

This year I’ll be photographing the 2011 Yamaha Snowmobiles again and freelancing for AMSnow. Both great companies to work for.
WAITING TO UPDATE WITH IMAGES.
In April 2009 I was hired by Communication Designs as a contract photographer with the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). Work has steadily increased since then due to stimulus money ($500M) from President Obama. Part of the stipulation in receiving this stimulus money is that whoever receives it has to send weekly documentary reports to Washington,...
KORT DUCE STARTS PHOTOBLOG!
Not sure how often I will update or how this photoblog will evolve. I really just want to jump in and start learning how all this works. Eventually I’d like to start a photoblog for the Idaho National Laboratory (Either one or multiple ones for the 3 contractors that run the INL). Posting pictures I...
